Frequently asked questions

Can’t I just do a past paper at home for free?

You can, and you should. What you can’t replicate at your desk is the competitive energy of a room full of students treating the paper like it’s their real HSC. Every past paper at your desk feels more or less like the same mundane practice. The HSC Premiere breaks that monotony.

If your HSC were really in two weeks, how would you do? The HSC Premiere answers exactly that question. Find out where you stand in a pressured environment, with everyone trying to score their highest on a good quality paper.

How much you get out of it depends on how seriously you take it. If you decide to treat it like your real HSC, you’ll be ready two weeks before you need to be. And whether you’re happy or unhappy with your HSC Premiere result, you can wake up from it as though it passed like a dream, knowing there’s still time to do something about it.

My tutoring centre runs a mock too. What’s different?

Not like this one. A mock is only worth what the paper in front of you is worth, and most are stitched together from questions you’ve already seen. Ours is written from scratch for this year’s syllabus, and it’s hard in the places the HSC is hard, so it gives you an accurate reflection of what you would actually score in the HSC, not on a recycled trial.

Nobody else teaches exam setting out and communication the way we do, and in the HSC that is where the marks you deserve are either won or lost. Past students, who have done years of tutoring at other places, have told us that the HSC Premiere and the insights shared during the seminar were the single most productive piece of HSC study they did all year. You get more teaching and more exam focus than most students get in a fortnight of regular lessons for half the price.

If your centre’s mock does all of that, then don’t come to the Premiere, because we are confident they don’t.

Is this only for students going for a state rank?

No. Most of the room is aiming for a high E4, and the seminar is where most of those marks are found. The Masterclass is for the top ten. The Premiere is for everyone sitting Extension this year.

Do I get my paper back?

No. Your results package is emailed within 7 days, which includes your raw mark for each question, your rank in the Premiere cohort and an aligned mark predictor against the cohort distribution. If you still want to go through your own script with us, that is the Script Review package, but most students don’t need it.

I can’t make the dates. But I want to sit the exam!

Unfortunately, the dates are fixed. The integrity of the HSC Premiere is ensured by everyone sitting the same paper on the same day under the same conditions. It is what makes your mark and rank meaningful.

If you understand that an attempt of our paper outside those conditions cannot be ranked against the cohort and you still want to sit it for the practice and the feedback, email hscpremiere@gmail.com before registrations close. We cannot promise that alternative provisions will be made.

How hard is the paper?

Harder than the HSC in certain places, and written to the syllabus and in the HSC’s format. Students who have sat it usually describe it as harder than the trials they have done, in a reasonable way.

I’m in Year 11. Can I sit it?

Email hscpremiere@gmail.com with your situation and we will let you know.

2025 HSC Premiere

I think the two main things for me were, firstly, the actual experience of the Premiere, and secondly, the explanation seminars afterwards. In terms of the exam itself, I don't know if there is a better way to simulate the actual HSC exam. I found the paper was above a HSC standard, and a bit harder than I expected, so I had to adapt to the unfamiliar paper and environment which is a skill that I can't practice by doing past papers at home. Also, the questions were harder but not unreasonably so, and still are a great reflection of the HSC. In terms of the seminars afterwards, I found both 3U and 4U are sessions that help every student. Regardless of your level, there are things to learn — not just how to solve the question, but better alternative methods, insights into how the question was made, and — most valuable in my opinion — tips for setting out and working.

2025 HSC Premiere

I think the main reason why I've attended William's lessons and the Premiere is because of his talent and dedication to helping us students. The most important skill he's shown me is how to dissect a question and extract as much value from it as possible — always to search for alternative methods, better setting out, etc. While I have been practicing this on my own, it's also something that is always better with multiple people, and I think William has a real talent for exposing and explaining these insights in an understandable way. Also, William's focus on setting out the working out is something I never really considered, but, seeing as HSC exams are about communication, I recognise it's an important skill to do well, especially if you're considering a state rank. There's no one I'd rather have help me on my journey.

2025 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorer

I think the Masterclass offered me an opportunity to connect with other people who also are aiming for a state rank. This allowed for further learning and an opportunity to learn from others who are genuinely better than me at mathematics, and learn from their insights. I also found the papers and explanations afterwards very valuable in terms of new methods, better approaches to setting out and ways to check/develop methods to avoid mistakes. I also found the pace and engagement in the room was better personally than the Premiere because we all have the same goal and were of similar levels.

2025 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorer

Firstly, it's an environment that's difficult to replicate because everybody in the class is genuinely aiming for a state rank. It's collaborative and we all want to be our best. Secondly, William genuinely cares about allowing us to improve as much as we can-he's willing to accommodate for our needs, to help us with our approaches to setting out and spending time to ensure we extract the most out of each question. Also, seeing as it's six hours a day at least of intense learning, I think travel time is not as big a concern/it's a sacrifice that is worth it. Finally, the papers William has crafted are accurate replicas of the HSC, designed especially to help us do our best in Ext 2, so it's a valuable resource, better than many past papers I've done that is unique to W2 Education.

2024 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorer

Masterclass was significantly helpful for me as both the papers and the explanation seminars were highly engaging and thought provoking. I feel like through being able to simulate a HSC paper under examination conditions allowed me to feel more confident working under pressure and overcoming difficult questions. The papers also offered valuable insights into niche topics and crucial theory that underpins very difficult questions. Further, William's explanations were very thorough and insightful. I really do think I gained a lot from his teaching.

2024 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorer

Being able to simulate high quality maths papers under exam conditions is not an opportunity that one passes by often, and hence it is a highly beneficial experience. Further, the insights gained from each lesson are very useful and I think would definitely translate to a stronger mathematics performance during the HSC. Further, William's big emphasis on communication is very unique and valuable and would certainly be of great use to any high-achieving student.

Brian RenSt Aloysius' College. 5th in NSW, 2023 HSC Mathematics Extension 1

In William's class, I learnt heuristics targeted towards state rank desirers including exam techniques which are overlooked by most tutors. These techniques improve the clarity in communication while allowing a methodical execution of most questions. The most important matter I learnt was cultivating an appropriate mindset: to remain committed in practise papers and realise one's ability to seize the state rank.

Felix YiSydney Boys High School. 7th in NSW, 2023 HSC Mathematics Extension 1

Most important thing I learnt was to set out my working properly. I was never taught this before... The class really teaches details that aren't covered in typical classes, stuff that is important to achieving full marks and state ranks.

HSC Premiere

2025 HSC Premiere

The exams themselves provided a very accurate simulation of a real HSC exam. From the physical environment, to the actual exam, and the quality and difficulty of the questions themselves, it was all very well created and authorised. The seminars after the exam were very useful in understanding the difficult concepts in the exam, and after completing such thought-provoking, conceptually challenging, and creatively crafted questions, I feel much more equipped to complete my HSC exams and come first in the state. Overall, Mr Wibawa is a mathematical wizard, and with the new techniques I have learnt from him, I have no doubt this has been an invaluable experience, and is worth every dollar spent.

2025 HSC Premiere

I would 100% recommend the HSC premiere to other students. It has truly been a great experience and would be the same for all students. Especially for the price-value ratio, it is very affordable and this is something I would recommend for every student.

2025 HSC Premiere

The HSC Premiere was highly beneficial as it accurately replicated the test environment (e.g. invigilators walking around, paper formatting) which allowed me an opportunity to sit the exam in HSC conditions. The questions within the paper were also extremely unique and prompted critical thinking in ways that other past papers haven't. The reports with my rank and aligned mark gave me a good indication of my abilities and motivated me to try harder questions. William's seminars were also very engaging as he asked many questions whilst debunking common mistakes and proposing more efficient methods. Holistically, I highly benefitted from the Premiere.

2025 HSC Premiere

The HSC Premiere reflected both the style and environment of the HSC which is a good opportunity to consolidate knowledge. The questions were quite difficult, pushing me to both be accurate and fast in crafting responses. During the seminars for exam review, William effectively explained ALL questions, which allowed me to understand the methods that I was previously unfamiliar with. Overall, the question types were also very thought provoking and pushed me to apply fundamental concepts in abstract scenarios. Thus, this experience was very worthwhile and I highly recommend to any other students.

2025 HSC Premiere

While the paper was certainly harder than the "HSC style", the unique problem set provides a deep insight into alternative methods and strategies for attacking uncomfortable questions, particularly the last questions of a paper. This also serves as another (and possibly the final) opportunity to take an exam in HSC-esque conditions prior to the actual task, and more practice, especially when it closely aligns with the real conditions, is invaluable to winning in the HSC.

2025 HSC Premiere

While the general stigma surrounding tutoring centers is continually propagated by mainstream media and schools, I find the sheer impact of having William as my teacher inimitable by any other means, let alone substituted by the attempts made by schools. Tutoring, I'd say, is even necessary in today's environment of education, for any students wishing to improve in any capacity. In praise specifically for W2 over comparable centres, the coursework is designed to respect the syllabus and address conceptual gaps, to truly benefit the student compared to teaching half of first year uni.

2025 HSC Premiere

The 2025 HSC Premiere has allowed me to be in a room with like-minded individuals that share the same passion for mathematics that I have. Sitting in Room 701 and listening to William Wibawa's renowned heuristics has taught me many new tricks that I can apply in my upcoming exams. I now feel more confident in my ability to tackle new challenges in my mathematics career.

2025 HSC Premiere

The HSC Premiere has allowed me to learn new concepts in mathematics — with my friends — before the HSC. I would recommend William Wibawa's unique teaching style as he asks students to actively participate in their own learning.

2025 HSC Premiere

It was useful to be exposed to challenging questions and have comprehensive explanations on how to approach such questions. I've learnt how to better convey my responses to markers and I've learnt more methods that I've not thought of. It also allowed me to understand my weaknesses: I had struggled with rates of change questions that involved flow in and out so it was great to build my knowledge within this last stretch. I like how detailed the explanations were.

2025 HSC Premiere

Yes because I think that the materials are very challenging (but reasonably). You provide greater depth into how we should set out our work is very valuable. It also helps that every tutor is qualified. You guys are very organised and the structuring of lessons is good.

2025 HSC Premiere

I found the insight into MCQ magic very useful and will try implement it into my papers. I also found the variation in difficulty quite useful as it reflected a realistic, but definitely more challenging version of what the HSC could look like. Further the insight into how to better spend my time doing working out was very high yield as was the multiple methods provided in answering particular questions. I found the layout of the working out for all questions quite clear and comprehensive and will definitely implement/emulate this in future papers.

2025 HSC Premiere

Yes, I find the methods for answering questions quite easy to understand both for myself and markers. The lessons were engaging and provided insights in term of what the line of thinking should be taken before actually attempting to solve the Qs. Thus I would highly commend the tutoring service to future students.

2025 HSC Premiere

Showed me areas I needed further understanding/practice in. Gave insight into the nuance of some questions and where to avoid potential mistakes. Provided examples of harder HSC-style questions that could be encountered. Provided some insight into question building. MCQ strategies. Timing...

2025 HSC Premiere

For all benefits provided to me (listed prev.) Different perspective to regular school teaching. Fills in gaps in my own school's teaching (stats, diff eq) Emulates the experience better than home environment. Accessible to southern side Sydney. Gives heuristics that improve problem-solving approaches. Smaller class sizes allow for more participation/concentration. Connected, accessible and involved tutors.

2025 HSC Premiere

The HSC Premiere is a dedicated 2-day exam preparation tool that exposes you to high quality, top-band level paper questions. It is also a good simulation of the HSC, in the way that it sort of 'over-prepares' you for the HSC, so you don't walk in there surprised. It emulates exam conditions to the point where I was even sick while sitting the paper, which would be good practice for HSC if I happen to fall sick.

2025 HSC Premiere

I don't tutor here, however after attending the seminars, Mr William seems to have a lot of math X1 and X2 knowledge, and is a fast paced, well rounded tutor who goes into adequate depth to allow you to fully understand exam concepts/technique.

2025 HSC Premiere

It helps expose you to a wide variety of question types in 4U and tests your time management in 3U, both of which are the quintessential components of their respective tests. Additionally, it allows you to experience another exam in full test conditions beyond school trials, and allows you to rank yourself against other motivated students from other schools that give you a better understanding of your skill level compared to the rest of Sydney.

2025 HSC Premiere

I would recommend this program to students that are highly motivated as it pushes these students. (I would not recommend to students [not] wanting to E4/B6). For the highly motivated, this program will challenge them and propel them to potentially increasing their results in the real HSC. The teachers/tutors explained clearly, facilitated student engagement and gave lots of little, problem solving/time saving tips that may be a decider in whether the student state ranks or not.

2025 HSC Premiere

The exam benefitted me to have: Practice in exam conditions. Practice in hard questions. Helpful exam tips. Ways to approach problems. Unique questions that are conceptually challenging.

2025 HSC Premiere

Yes the class structure is nice with difficult concepts explained rigorously. Sometimes concepts learnt in class are out of syllabus but the techniques learnt benefitted me to score well on exams and build confidence when solving questions.

2025 HSC Premiere

The most valuable-in my opinion-aspect of the course was the unseen and unique questions shown in the exam. The quality of the exams given was better than any trials online, and is thus better prep for the HSC. Doing these difficult problems + exam tips helped me improve approach AND become quicker and more efficient (specifically I feel I will lose less "silly" marks and feel I decrease % that this will happen).

2025 HSC Premiere

Increases motivation. Different to previous prep (i.e. practising in a new manner so can help get better at unique aspects that don't improve with other methods). Mainly though because of exam tips offered and high quality exam.

2025 HSC Premiere

I think the one thing I truly gained from the premiere was setting out & how it can make such a difference in 1. gaining marks and 2. following yourself.

My approach to questions has changed, enabling me to enhance my mathematics skills / critical thinking.

Thank you again!

2025 HSC Premiere

Very helpful, difficult/challenging questions. Great exam techniques/tips.

2025 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerReddam House

The masterclass was by far the most helpful piece of preparation for the 4U HSC I have done. The 2 tests loaded with challenging problems helped to increase the scope of possible things that I could encounter in the real exam. The feedback sessions also gave me lots of insight into presentation and communication of solutions as well as the alternative methods provided by my other classmates.

2025 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerReddam House

Certainly. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the way William teaches and gives crucial insights into the solutions and question you probably could not receive elsewhere. Personally, I don't go to math tutoring but this experience definitely made me consider going at times — there are some key insights that you cannot get by self-study or 99% of other tutoring services. It's also a great atmosphere w/ lots of other dedicated students that results in a constructive learning environment for all.

2024 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerNorth Sydney Boys High School

It really insightfully brought out weaknesses in my preparation and there were many tricks that other third parties and school institutions / past papers don't really bring up. It's really difficult to continually source new questions that are ultimately not too easy or completely out of syllabus, and this masterclass perfectly balanced between a good mix of hard yet in-syllabus questions alongside extremely time-consuming multiple choice questions. The travel time to Hurstville was very worth it, as was the initial journey to Town Hall to try out a unique paper/s. Furthermore, it was also really cheap whilst the ordering of rooms were very nice.

2024 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerNorth Sydney Boys High School

Yes I'm genuinely extremely grateful that I heard about this service in the HSC. It was likely the most productive HSC-based maths tutoring this year. William teaches many unique strategies on setting out that improves the flow and clarity of mathematical reasoning — a concern that generally results in lost marks in HSC despite knowing how to do the questions. Furthermore, exams are formatted exactly like the HSC and is really potent in mimicking those exam conditions. High-achieving students have likely seen a variety of questions been overused, but William generates his own unique questions and invokes tricks that are completely undermined by other corporations. It is also affordable and convenient (next to the station) so I would definitely recommend this to others.

2025 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerNorth Sydney Girls High School

Yes! The masterclass has definitely helped. The structure of the masterclass was very beneficial as sitting an exam then going through a review during class prompted lots of discussion about the various methods that can be implemented. Also, the papers were very well designed, having both accessible marks AND questions that required more problem solving. So, being exposed to a wide range of question types has prepared me more for the HSC. Holistically, the HSC masterclass has greatly helped with my preparation for HSC mathematics!

2025 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerNorth Sydney Girls High School

Yes! I would definitely recommend w2 Education to other students who appreciate learning about the fundamentals and logic that define a Q. William has been an amazing tutor in explaining concepts very clearly and often prompts deeper thinking and problem solving skills. The class environment is also very welcoming and is very encouraging in sharing different methods and insights to specific Qs. w2 prioritises understanding concepts and logic rather than 'rote learned' methods which has definitely benefitted me as my understanding of the topics has improved, allowing me to successfully solve more Qs. Holistically, I would 100% recommend w2 to any dedicated students looking to improve their mathematical abilities.

2024 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerKnox Grammar School

When I first started with William as a tutor, he was the first person/tutor who would personally mentor me beyond just content. He gave me great assistance also towards motivation, self-accountability and self-belief as I had never previously believed that I had the ability to state-rank. With his tutelage, I have been placed in a position where I do possess the ability to state-rank, particularly through his focus on setting out and refining every minute detail which gives me a competitive advantage. I would highly recommend this service to any high-achieving student.

2024 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerKnox Grammar School

The HSC Masterclass has helped me with my Mathematics Extension preparation with its closely simulated HSC-style examinations, helping me to become more accustomed to the difficulty, time management and format of the real thing. The explanation sessions were also extremely helpful in providing examination insights, new methodologies and techniques while being surrounded by other brilliant minds to collectively challenge and benefit each other.

2024 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerNorth Sydney Boys High School

The HSC mock exams created were of very high quality and a similar difficulty level to the HSC. Whilst the problems were very unique and challenging. Through the Masterclass program, I was able to gain exposure to problems I had never seen before, and William's explanations & the tricks he showed us were very insightful and gave opportunities I wouldn't have had at other coaching centres. As such, the Masterclass has been extremely useful in preparing for the 4U HSC.

2024 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerNorth Sydney Boys High School

Yes, I would recommend w2 due to the depth and breadth that William's teaching provides. The combination of ensuring that we have all the foundations covered before learning tricks for more complex questions is what I think would elevate a student from the mid E4 range to a high E4/state rank range, which is extremely useful for those passionate about state-ranking—especially the focus on working & setting out.

2025 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerReddam House

These papers showed hard questions that solidified my understanding of topics like z^7=1 questions which I was still unsure of before the masterclass. I also think that sitting 2 exams is helpful as there are more nerves for the first but these faded for the second and now I don't feel as worried about the HSC itself.

2025 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerReddam House

The masterclass was very helpful for the previous reasons so if anyone was invited or ranked well enough in the premiere I would encourage them to attend. For those not invited to the masterclass I still think that the premiere + premiere feedback sessions are efficient uses of time as there aren't many opportunities to sit a difficult exam in HSC-style conditions.

2025 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerReddam House

Seeing the unseen questions on both papers was very good exposure. Higher quality questions than online trials. Hearing the niche tips on how to set out working. Hearing how HSC markers want to see our working.

2025 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerReddam House

The masterclass is great as it is for the people who have the skill to be in it. Thus, the fact it is designed for the top 10 students means it can move at a fast pace. Also, I believe anyone who comes here will be given tips which result in at least one more mark gained on the day. Additionally by going to the masterclass, simulating hard exams makes the on-day performance more efficient + less nerve-racking.

2024 HSC MasterclassTop 10 HSC Premiere scorerNorth Sydney Boys High School

One thing I loved the most was how interesting and unique the masterclass and Premiere questions were. It was very clear that each question was constructed with a lot of thought in mind, and some of them assessed concepts in a way that I had never experienced or seen at other educational institutions. I also really appreciated the exams themselves — the physical paper was thick and high quality and the formatting was near identical to actual HSC papers. The question explanations were also really good and had many small but helpful insights that I will take into the HSC.

As I mentioned previously, the questions offered at both the Premiere and masterclass were avant-garde and test your knowledge of fundamental concepts very well. Just having experience with these questions will already broaden your horizons and may allow you to receive certain niche pieces of theory that you may need to brush up on in the days leading up to the HSC. Additionally, the question explanations were succinct yet very insightful and engaging. The smaller notes offered whilst the selected questions were explained will definitely help you in your preparation and in the 4U HSC.

The concentration of questions that targeted my weaknesses in exam technique and theory was very high, making the experience very constructive towards optimising my 4U mathematics learning. The exams are structured in a way that guides us through an intentional pedagogical and neutalogical framework to target high priority learning areas for the exam, especially when it is in a few days. The small class size with like-minded students meant I could learn from other students.

Yes, I would recommend it. One barrier of assumption was that I thought the paper would just be all difficult questions that might have been out of syllabus. But the questions were actually doable but had key learning tips that were actually useful. I think coming to the master class when you're likely not going to get as much value out of repetitively doing easy questions is a surprisingly rapid method of feeling more confident about mathematics.

Throughout these two days, Masterclass has definitely helped as William provided us a plethora of tips, strategies, and approaches to the 4U exam. I think what made it so helpful was that we discussed various approaches to each question, which, at least for me, allowed for greater insight on what questions are really asking you to solve. Additionally, I found that William was able to communicate working really effectively and efficiently.

As stated before, I think William's approach to teaching is more effective in helping students understand what the purpose of exams/questions are, and how we can overcome challenges in finding that, rather than simply teaching the method to do questions. Also the classroom environment was much friendlier than expected, considering it consisted of other high achieving students. It seemed like everyone was just trying to learn new things which was great.

Firstly, what's different is the environment that the Masterclass fosters and esteems: competition, growth, confidence. From the idea that these classes are made for high achieving students to the tough papers we sit, the general concept of the Masterclass is constructed for individuals genuinely passionate about succeeding. There is no easy questions, there is no "lax" behaviour and I think this makes the learning much more focused and appropriate. This is enhanced by the quality of student in these classes, some of whom will undoubtedly exceed in the HSC and life beyond.

Competition -> Working with like-minded individuals around the state. Similar level cooperation, good pace. Good Material -> Hard exams. Each question has a purpose. Great Teacher -> Very individualised, personal tips and tricks, life lessons, improve communication expressions. No Hard feelings -> If you don't do good in a paper/hw/question, you're not shamed. It's a growing process and W2 is very supportive of this.

Taught in a very sophisticated manner. Many details were treated or were covered that I thought were very interesting (e.g. how to set out work, the syntax etc). Very interesting questions were taught, different to what is typically seen in text books etc. Hands on problem solving style approach was very nice and different to typical tutoring.

Will definitely help with exam communication and adequacy. Definitely sets a good foundation for further math studies i.e. uni. Taught in a way which can be applied to high level math, not just HSC. Very high quality papers which had 100% unique questions which is a important detail in simulating the HSC. Good fun vibe. fun teacher.

Good takeaway on how to problem-solve and learning how to properly set up work from a marking standpoint is very beneficial. Mathematical rigour. Unique HSC-style papers & a collaborative environment. Good to also be in a class with others who are of equal ability (not everyone from selective schools with full of geniuses!).

Yes because there is a lot of intricacies and mathematical insight that you enlighten to students, which we wouldn't have known if we just spam past papers. Learning about the thought process is more valuable than just knowing the "answer". Reminds me of the Feynman method somewhat. Communicating effectively.

Gave insight into many tricks that could pop up in the HSC. The questions were interesting and explorations were detailed. Very personal tutoring and has time for feedback. The masterclass taught many things that were not explained at school and is needed for full marks.

It is useful for not just finding how to do hard questions but also how to write the solutions down in a way that saves time. It is something that school won't tell you about. The explanations from the tutor helps high achieving students, as they already know the answer to hard questions, but have extra difficulty working out and setting out.

It helped me tackle harder questions strategically with better communication to the markers. It built the rigour behind my solutions or simplifications within questions. Prepped for focus and ability to be calm during the actual exams. Being surrounded by top students within the 2025 cohort enabled the class discussions to be advanced as well as build confidence.

Yes I would recommend this as it provides students with challenging and unique questions that would otherwise be untapped within regular papers and exams. Some stuff taught in class go beyond high-school maths but most of the time it is contained within the limits of Ext 2 Maths.

William explains concepts quite well. He introduces new ideas & approaches in an interactive and dynamic way; etc asking questions, inviting student approaches, etc. The quality is very high and the questions are radical in application of theory (whether it be long, but rewarding calculations, or short sharp insights) Additionally, being around intelligent, supportive students fosters holistic and mutual learning, whereby our questions may catalyse others' understanding, and we can find peers for support (as well as tutors!). The structure and presentation of lesson material is streamlined in a way it doesn't mundate with theory, but rather has both hands-on and conceptual components backed in nicely.

Great insights into catering for what NESA wants in the HSC and communicating clearly to the marker. High quality simulation test papers that accurately simulate HSC. Also great explanations with some crucial insights that are not usually taught. Good environment and engagement with the class, light and casual which was nice. Only thing is that Hurstville was a bit far away. Overall, really good experience.

I think that the exams were good since they were realistic for the HSC and the tricky MCQ were good to test conceptual understanding. Also the feedback straight after the exam was good since we just went through the harder questions more in depth rather than going through everything. Although I think it would be better if we could keep the papers to go over and review our mistakes more thoroughly but I understand that might be hard to do. I really appreciated the emphasis on exactly what the HSC wanted e.g. for induction and the wording of your solution. Overall great experience!
